About the Festival

Our Vision

The Napa Valley is where cultures intersect. And when cultures connect, opportunities for storytelling abound.

In Napa, we are intentional about uplifting Asian and Asian American stories through the lens of those who create them. That's why we've brought educators, civic leaders, and small business leaders together to establish the Napa Valley Asian American Film Festival.

Join us in celebrating the cinematic achievements and contributions of Asians and Asian Americans, as NVAAFF elevates the strength and power of representation through film and other creative media platforms.

NVAAFF is also looking ahead as filmmaking evolves through AI and other advancements.

Why?

Because Napa is a place where cultures flourish. And this film festival is fertile ground to bring cinematic achievements to life.
